The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office reports they responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries on State Highway 55, north of County Highway J in the Town of Osborn.
The driver of the passenger car traveling south on State Highway 55 crossed the center line and struck a northbound semi-tractor and trailer.
The 69-year-old male driver of the passenger car from Green Bay was trapped inside the car and died on scene. Officials say the 60-year-old male driver of the semi from the Seymour area was treated for minor injuries and released on scene.
Officials say there was only one occupant inside each of the vehicles and both were wearing seatbelts. The roadway was closed for approximately three hours.
The crash is still under investigation.
