One person has died after shots were fired on the 600 block of Olson Avenue in Grand Chute around 4:30 Sunday afternoon.
Police said the person was already dead when officers arrived.
Police wouldn't release much information as to what led up to the shooting, or who is responsible for the shooting, but police tape did surround an SUV in a nearby parking lot.
"We believe, at this point, that it is an isolated incident, and should information come up that make us believe anything different than that, the Grand Chute Police Department would put something out on that,” said Sgt. Dave Lund with the Appleton Police Department.
Officers said they hoped witnesses would have information that helps with their investigation.
Police said more information about the person who was shot is likely to come out Monday, but also said nobody else is in danger.
