Fond du Lac County is releasing video taken by Chief Deputy Ryan Waldschmidt of a tornado earlier this week.
Officials say Waldschmidt captured the brief video footage with a cell phone, once the tornado was a safe distance away.
The National Weather Service has reviewed this video and confirmed it was a tornado, and said many of the tornados Fond du Lac County experienced that evening were similar to this one.
