NBC26 is excited to welcome our new morning meteorologist Michael Fish to the NBC26 Today team!
Michael brings a decade of experience to Northeast Wisconsin, joining NBC26 from Today's TMJ4 in Milwaukee where he started his career working with 36-year veteran John Malan.
During that time, Michael also provided weather reports for NBC26 for five years.
Michael knew he wanted to know more about meteorology while storm spotting in 1996 and experiencing the massive Oakfield, F5 tornado.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, "Fish" as most people call him, came back to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to work on his Master's Degree in Atmospheric Science.
Michael is a Wisconsin native who was born and raised in Fond du Lac.
