Menasha police have not released the name of a woman who was found dead near the railroad tracks in the city.
The 44-year-old woman from the Fox Cities area appeared to have slipped and fell near the interaction of Lush and Water Street.
Police say she had been drinking alcohol with friends and was within a few blocks of reaching her next destination.
Authorities don't suspect any foul play and there were no signs of trauma. The results of an autopsy are expected within four to eight weeks.
