Across Northeast Wisconsin Monday, thousands gathered for their local Memorial Day parade. Each event serves as a time to celebrate our nation's heroes, honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
In Appleton, the annual Memorial Day parade drew hundreds downtown. The parade ended at Riverside Cemetery with a dedication to Appleton's veterans who died while serving.
It was a similar story in De Pere for the Kiwanis Memorial Day parade. People lined the sidewalks on a beautiful morning, celebrating the day dedicated to America's heroes.
