The Marinette County Sheriff's Office has canceled the 'endangered missing person alert' for 52-year-old Jason Kawatski of the Town of Ripon.
Officials in the Town of Ripon informed NBC26 at 4:40pm Monday that Kawatski had returned home safely.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Kawatski was last seen in the Town of Ripon on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. He was leaving to go ATV riding in Marinette County. He had planned to return home Monday night.
Kawatski's girlfriend told investigators that she had a missed phone call from him at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday and hadn't heard from him since. She was concerned for his safety, because Kawatski is a diabetic and has an insulin pump. The Sheriff's Office tried to ping Kawatski's phone, but they couldn't find his location.
Town of Ripon officials said Kawatski has been located and is doing fine.
