At 4:01 p.m. May 24, a body was located on the shoreline of Lake Michigan in southern Manitowoc County. The victim was about 1.5 miles south of Hika Bay Park, Cleveland.
Police have identified the victim as 38-year-old Minhbao Pham from Fresh Meadows, New York.
The investigation determined Pham is the man witnesses observed potentially drowning on May 1 while in Lake Michigan north of Hika Bay Park.
An autopsy was performed on May 23 at the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office. The cause of death is pending the autopsy results which may take several weeks.
The investigation is ongoing, but police said no foul play is suspected.
