UPDATE: Police have identified the man who drowned in the Little Wolf River as 33-year-old Curtis L. Howell of Milwaukee.

The Waupaca County Sheriff's office reports a man died by drowning today on the Little Wolf River.
Deputies were called to the area about 100 yards south of Ostrander road around 5:45 PM.
They were told a man had fallen in the water and hadn't come up to the surface for 10 minutes.
First responders were able to locate the man nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He is identified tonight only as a 33-year-old man from Milwaukee.
