Woman dies after Eaton crash involving cement truck

BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) — A woman died after being injured in a Brown County crash Tuesday involving a cement truck.

According to the Brown County Sheriff's Office, at about 12:26 p.m. Tuesday, Brown County deputies and the Wisconsin State Patrol were dispatched to the intersection of Kewaunee Road (Highway 29) and Highway P in the town of Eaton for a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a cement truck.

The Sheriff's Office said the driver of the passenger vehicle, an 18-year-old Green Bay woman, sustained serious injuries. The passenger in that vehicle, a 44-year-old Green Bay woman, sustained life-threatening injuries. The driver of the cement truck, a 45-year-old Green Bay man, sustained minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene.

The two women were taken to an area hospital. According to the Sheriff's Office, the 44-year-old woman died from her injuries.

At this time, the crash is being investigated by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Reconstruction Unit and the Wisconsin State Patrol. Names will be withheld pending notification of family members.
