GREENLEAF, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Milwaukee Bucks haven't won an NBA title in 50 years, but as the country learns a thing or two about fearing the deer local tavern owners in northeastern Wisconsin are embracing the herd and reaping the benefits of their success.

In the small town of Greenleaf, Wisconsin local tavern owners are capitalizing on the Buck's success, even though traditionally the Buck were often an afterthought for many.

"We've always been Brewers and Packers (people), people come to watch that and pay attention to that," says Holly Decleene the owner of Mally's Spare Time bar.

Decleene says the tide has turned the last several weeks though and folks in town are now getting a bit more vocal about what's on the tube.

"Traditionally I probably wouldn't have paid attention to the Bucks schedule," says Decleene admittedly.

Recently on game nights, Decleene says she's noticed an uptick in business thanks to the Buck's run at the NBA championship. And despite not being known around town as a sports bar, Decleene says she is 100 percent here for what the Bucks have come to offer her small town business.

"I'd like to see them win it all. In seven games if possible to. Because that's even better for us," says Decleene with a smile.
