ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) -- What was recently a popular dine-in eatery at Cheesecake Heaven is a quiet to-go spot now.
"There are usually lines and people are happy and eating and enjoying their breakfast and lunch," customer Wendy Panning said.
Although the current conditions aren't ideal, for owner Kaysie Kimps she says this has been a learning experience.
"We're starting to do curbside pickup, we've never done that before. It is interesting we might keep it afterwards because it seems to work out for everybody."
While they're still serving customers curbside, the recently built bar and lounge had to be temporarily shut down.
"We're just getting started with having this part and having it be busy, I can't believe they're closing the bars, in Green Bay, in Wisconsin even because this is peoples culture."
Kimps says the support of customers has been more than enough to keep doors open.
We're a local business not a chain and when people choose to come here and support us, we're very grateful for that.
