GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Some students will use the summer to catch up on learning.

UWGB says enrollment for summer classes up by just over 25 percent from last summer.

The school offers 200 online courses over 4, 6, and 10-week sessions.

"Students, especially ones who are trying to stay on track to graduation and with the uncertainty will also say ‘I don't know what fall is going to look like, so I'm going to take some classes this summer just in case fall isn't what I'm looking for, I'll have more room in my schedule to do that class differently,’” said Jennifer Jones, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services.

The university is working on a plan to welcome students back in the fall. Students can still sign up for summer online classes.
