GREEN BAY (WGBA) -- Classes at University Wisconsin Green Bay are still in session as another case of the Coronavirus is confirmed in the Badger State. No cases are reported in Northeast Wisconsin.
The University said today the are monitoring every hour and are in-contact with state agencies about the spread.
"It is definitely not a good thing that it is spreading," said Kayla Register, a sophomore. "I don't see it being very concerning."
As of Tuesday, no classes have been suspended. Other Universities have canceled class all-together, and some are going with online classes. Register says she doesn't want classes to be disrupted. She learns better in person.
"I need to able to talk to my teachers to be able to get my work done properly," Register said.
University Provost Mike Alexander said all they can do is monitor the spread.
"We are going to follow the experts who know in their field about how to advise us and the best actions to take," Alexander said.
He didn't rule out the possibility of canceling classes. Register hopes it stays that way.
"College is hard in general and to miss out on extra school, it makes it harder," Register said.
