APPLETON, Wis. — UPDATE: Appleton police have identified the victim in the fatal shooting early Sunday morning.

Investigators say 47-year-old Bobby L. Higgs of Green Bay was killed early Sunday morning in the 500 block of W. Johnson St.

According to police, that location is a common "after-party" spot where locals gather after the bars close.

Several photos were released to the public Monday to try and help identify some of the witnesses seen on surveillance video inside the building where the shooting took place.

"Right now there's so many people to interview. A lot of different stories obviously are being told. So, sifting through that our investigators are just working around the clock to try to interview as many people that where there or had left there earlier to determine what lead up to this incident," says Officer Meghan Cash with the Appleton Police Department.

Investigators say they want to thank the public for helping them identify several of the witnesses to the shooting and are still working to identify others who may have witnessed the crime.

At this time no one has been arrested for the shooting.
