Two teens, one adult arrested in Oshkosh shooting investigation

OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — Two teens, along with one adult, have been arrested in connection to a shooting that happened over the weekend.

Police said at around 1:29 a.m. Sunday, officers from the Oshkosh Police Department were dispatched to a weapons call in the 200 block of West 10th Avenue. They received information that a male driver had fired a gun several times at a vehicle.

Upon further investigation, police said officers discovered that a disturbance took place between several people in the 200 block of West 20th Avenue. The people involved in this disturbance left the area in two vehicles.

Police said the vehicles continued to travel in the same direction and in the 200 block of West 10th, police said a male driver fired a handgun several times into the side of the other vehicle. No one else was injured during this incident.

Officers took the 16-year-old male driver into custody for attempted first degree intentional homicide, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of stolen property and first degree recklessly endangering safety.

A 38-year-old woman is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for the charges of party to the crime of first degree recklessly endangering safety and contributing to the delinquency of a child.

Additionally, a 15-year-old girl is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for disorderly conduct.
