Two shot on Green Bay's east side; suspect still at large

GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) — Two people are in the hospital after a shooting Wednesday night on Green Bay's east side. Police were called to the scene around 10 p.m.

Two people were found on the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital for treatment. No further information on their condition is available.

Green Bay Police, including detectives and forensics divisions, remained on the scene until about 4:30 a.m. They were able to talk to witnesses and gathered some information about a suspect, but no one is in custody.

Lt. Brad Strouf says he does not believe the incident is a random act, but he does say the public should remain aware of their surroundings.
