OMRO (NBC 26) - A Wisconsin family stricken by grief after brother-sister duo, Domynick Milis and his sister Danyca Milis lost their lives in a tragic head-on collision Tuesday night.
“They did not deserve to have their lives taken. They had so much to look forward to. Nobody wants to have to burry a child and I wouldn’t want to wish that upon anyone", said family-friend Carie Hill.
Hill described the bond between the two as inseparable and both of them with so much for hope and aspirations for the future.
“Dominick is someone who was interested in the field of education and even coached our middle school cross country team out here this year. There’s just so many positive connections with the family and the community,” said Dr. Jay Jones, Superintendent for the Omra School District.
Not only were they selfless members of the community but those that knew them say they'd do anything for their loved ones.
“Their mother had made the perfect comment today. Domynic and Danyca were both organ donors so that someone would be able to see the beautiful world through their eyes, hearts, stronger and a new valve, and walk a little taller, and new veins, and those are the type of children they were,"Hill said.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — Two Omro residents were killed in a crash involving a suspect in an armed carjacking, according to Florida authorities. Two children, also from Omro, were seriously injured.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said a suspect in an armed carjacking fled from law enforcement at speeds over 110 mph, made a U-turn into oncoming traffic on I-95, and caused a fatal head-on crash.
The two victims, listed as from Omro according to a Florida Highway Patrol official press release, were 18 and 21. The Sheriff's Office said the children in the back seat, who survived, are 13 and 17. The suspect was also killed in the crash. Authorities said the family was on their way home from seeing Christmas lights.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with expenses.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are handling the investigation of the crash, with the Sheriff’s Office providing whatever assistance is needed, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
