APPLETON (NBC 26) — Thrivent, a not-for-profit financial services organization with an operations center in Appleton, has delayed the next phase of its Safe Return Plan due to the current stage of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company said the following in a statement to NBC 26:
At Thrivent, we’re following our Safe Return Plan, which we developed during the pandemic to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our workforce. The plan outlines a phased approach for returning onsite based on specific criteria and is designed to flex based on evolving conditions.
To continue maintaining the health and safety of our workforce, we have decided to postpone the next phase of our Safe Return Plan due to the ongoing COVID-19 landscape. We are actively monitoring the situation and will make appropriate adjustments based on the evolving coronavirus pandemic and CDC guidelines. We will revisit transitioning into the next phase of our plan once it is safe to do so.
As we look forward to a post-pandemic work environment, we’re continuing to explore how we will apply a hybrid approach to in-office and remote work in the future. Ultimately, our goal is to serve our clients with excellence, continue fostering a high-performance culture and grow our organization.
Thrivent has several locations across Northeast Wisconsin in addition to its operating center in Appleton.
