Monday night, Appleton music professor John Holiday sang his heart out on the first night of 'The Voice' season finale.
Holiday is one of 5 competing for the title in the show's 19th season. Each contestant sang a cover song and an original. The Texas-native, but Appleton's Lawrence University professor sang 'Halo' by Beyonce. It's a song he said his coach John Legend had to convince him to sing.
Tuesday night is when we'll find out if the opera singer takes the crown. It starts at 8 p.m. with performances from each coach, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson.
