GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Nest Cowork + Club has always been a place of support for women-owned businesses since the day they opened in January of 2020.
A lot has changed since then and many people along with their businesses have learned to adapt. The Nest closed their doors during the Safer at Home order, but being a group of innovative, networking women, were able to continue to offer support and resources such as learning how to host zoom meetings and adapting your small business for online.
Co-Founder, Alex VandeHei, says they've been able to continue to offer virtual resources for members who aren't ready yet for in-person, but she adds they've noticed many women are feeling the burden of this pandemic with virtual learning for their kids, to worrying about the overall health of the family.
VandeHei says they wanted to give back to women and moms specifically because they need support and need a little "self-care."
The Giveaway is called, "Give Mom a Break Giveaway by The Nest." It includes nearly $4,000 in value from 24 local women-owned businesses. They include: The Nest Cowork + Club, Teddies Creative Cakes, True North Healing,Building Family Excellence, Fusion Athletics, Lauren Mauel's Academic Coaching,P'ri, Lux Life Chiropractic, Nicole Tilot, Mary Breuer Photos, One of a Kind Bowtique, Apricot Lane Boutique, Bright Esthetics, Smith Maker Artisan Co., Green Bay Area Mom, Mama +Maker, Abundance Movement,TLC'd, OG Sunless Studio, SilverWear by Misty, Change Your Bra & Change Your Life, Mommy AF, The Exchange, and Bright.
There will be 10 winners that will be announced at a 'Wine & Mingle' event on October 7th at The Nest.
