GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) — A teenager is in custody after the Green Bay Police Department was alerted to a social media threat against Preble High School.
Police were notified around 7:30 Wednesday night that a threat was posted on Instagram. This was the third threat in four days made against the high school.
Police investigated the threats and questioned three teens before identifying a 16-year-old male as the most likely suspect. He ultimately confessed to posting the threat and is being held in custody.
Charges of terroristic threats are being referred to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
