Suspects accused of demanding cryptocurrency during New London armed robbery

WAUPACA COUNTY (NBC 26) — Two suspects in a reported armed robbery are accused of demanding cryptocurrency from their victim.

According to the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office, the robbery was reported Jan. 16. Two male suspects entered a New London home and demanded cryptocurrency from one of the two victims.

The sheriff's office said the caller told authorities that one of the suspects was wearing a tactical vest and threatened both victims with a handgun.

The sheriff's office identified the suspects as Kobi Langenhuizen of Hortonville and Devon Mack from Menominee, Mich. The sheriff's office said both suspects are currently in Waupaca County Jail.

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office said this incident is believed to be isolated and is under investigation.
