Suspect arrested after intentional hit-and-run

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (NBC 26) - A suspect is in custody after a reported hit-and-run crash.

Grand Chute officers responded to Woodman's Food Market in the 500 block of North Westhill Boulevard in Grand Chute, around 9:15 Sunday night, for a report of a man who had been hit by a car in front of the store.

The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation shows the incident was an intentional act of violence, and there is no known relationship between the suspect and the victim.

Police recovered the vehicle involved in the incident and the driver was taken into custody on charges including Hit and Run Causing Injury and Attempt to Disarm a Police Officer.
