DE PERE (NBC 26) -- About 20 Saint Norbert College students spent much of their day packing 1,600 snack bags for at-risk students at elementary schools in the Green Bay area.

"It's just some extra snacks for the kids so fruit snacks and granola bars and crackers. Just to give them a little pick me up during the day when they're working on their virtual classes," said event co-organizer Jennifer Nissen.

The bags will be picked up tomorrow and the schools will distribute them. Each bag contains fruit snacks, granola bars, sausage links and more.
