LEDGEVIEW, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Summer of 2020 has been far from normal. The coronavirus pandemic has forced small businesses to get creative, but also implement ways to ensure safety for all of their guests. Keeping the CDC recommendations in mind, the LedgeCrest Reserve in Ledgeview is welcoming guests to join them for some socially distant fun on their patio with its 'Plates on the Patio' every Tuesday.

The event is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Tuesday through August and includes live music from local artists, food from their neighbors at Bleu Restaurant and a variety of local beers and spirits.

Venue Manager, Kylie Bireneaum, says they have a large patio with plenty of room to space out. She says they even sometimes will lay out blankets on their grass to allow even more guests the room they need to enjoy a night out with music and still socially distance.

Bireneaum says they have incorporated several layers of safety including reminders throughout the facility. They have Plexiglas between the bartenders and guests and all of the staff will be wearing masks. They have also hired staff that will just sanitize and clean throughout the event.

"Plates on the Patio" will be every Tuesday through August, but Bireneaum says they've received such great feedback and many have asked them to extend the events through September or later. To learn more about their events, just follow them on their Facebook page and/ or Instagram.
