VILLAGE OF ELAND — Incorporated in 1905 the Village of Eland in Western Shawano County, has a vast history to share about how the community grew in the early 1900's. What was once a thriving community of commerce and businesses though, today has turned into a community of just 195 people. In this edition of Small Towns we speak to several lifelong residents about what they remember most about Eland in the mid 1900's, and we hear what the community still has to offer today.
