Six men accused of sex trafficking girl in Green Lake County

GREEN LAKE COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Six men are accused of sex trafficking an underage girl in Green Lake County.

A news release from the Green Lake County Sheriff's Office states all of the suspects are believed to be undocumented immigrants from Guatemala.

According to the Sheriff's Office, a juvenile runaway called 911 on November 28 to say she had escaped from a residence where she was being sex trafficked. The Sheriff's Office said a deputy found her on the side of a road.

Using information from the girl, the Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant the next day at an address in the Township of Manchester. Six men were arrested and face a charge of second degree sexual assault. The Sheriff's Office said Evis Amabilio Garcia-Rivera is suspected of trafficking the girl within the residence amongst the other suspects.

The suspects are Esler Hugo Rivera, Rolando Corado Gonzalez, Avelino Sarceno-Sarceno, Ember Rivera, Noe Bautista-Martinez, and Evis Amabilio Garcia-Rivera. The Sheriff's Office said they are being held at the Green Lake County Correctional Facility on cash bonds that vary from $20,000 to $50,000.
