BROOKFIELD (NBC 26) — A Silver Alert has been issued for an 89-year-old missing Brookfield man.
Authorities say Herbert Aurther Schmiedel was last seen at his home on Brook Park Drive in the Town of Brookfield, at around 11 a.m. Monday.
He is believed to be traveling in a Gray 2005 Mercury Montego with a black ragtop, license plate number ABS5583. It's unknown where he's heading.
Schmiedel is a white man with white hair. He was last seen wearing a black striped golf t-shirt and gray shorts. He's 5'2" tall and weighs 150 lbs.
