UPDATE: One person hospitalized after Green Bay shooting

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — (3:24 P.M.) An active scene remains on Cora Street in Green Bay. Right now, police are trying to make a connection with people inside a home after a shooting Sunday.

Police said they know of at least one person inside the home; and are using a sound application device to alert them. Officers said they are trying to get the person or persons to come out peacefully and surrender.

(2:56 P.M.) One person has been hospitalized after a shooting in Green Bay. The shooter has not been arrested, but police said they believe the public is not in imminent danger.

Police said they were called just before noon around 801 Cora Street near the intersection of the 200 block of Oakland Avenue. Officers found a person who was shot with non-life-threatening injuries. That person was taken to a local hospital.

The scene remains active Sunday afternoon as police continue looking for the shooter. Green Bay Police said they've set up a perimeter around the scene and add the public is not in imminent danger.

(2:36 P.M.) Green Bay Police are actively investigating a shooting Sunday afternoon.

Police said they were called just before noon to the 200 block of Oakland Avenue.

Our reporter on scene said there is currently a large police presence and the SWAT team is there as well.

Officers have not released any other details. We'll continue to update this story as we learn more.
