SHEBOYGAN (NBC 26) — A 31-year-old Sheboygan man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the back Thursday evening. Police don't know why it happened, but say the victim and suspect knew each other.
The stabbing took place around 5 p.m. in the area of S. 17th Street and Niagara Avenue.
The man was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to Milwaukee with non-life-threatening injuries. A 54-year-old Sheboygan man was arrested later that evening and taken to jail. He's facing a 2nd Degree Reckless Endangerment charge. The motive is still unknown at this time.
