GREEN BAY, Wis. — A memorial to the victims of the September 11 attack was torn down in Green Bay.
The memorial was donated back in 2005 and featured a piece of steel from the World Trade Center in New York, but it also had inaccurate flight numbers for the downed planes.
The memorial has fallen into disrepair and fundraising efforts failed to generate any money to fix it.
The steel beam is currently on display at the Green Bay Police Department.
