WASHINGTON, D.C. (CNN) — Leaders of the "People's Convoy" met with Republican Senators Ron Johnson and Ted Cruz in Washington Tuesday.
The convoy is on its third day of circling the Beltway to protest how the government has handled the pandemic, including mask and vaccine mandates.
Cruz called politicians "petty tyrants" for trying to make health care decisions for people and their kids.
Johnson said the government has traumatized society and taken away freedoms.
The convoy's leader said they will continue looping the Beltway each day until mandates are ended.
One media outlet reports three thousand vehicles are now taking part in the convoy after three truck caravans united.
