GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Thursday, NBC 26 reached out to both of our U.S. Senators to ask what they think needs to be done about COVID-19 in Wisconsin.
Senator Tammy Baldwin urged people to listen to the governor and try to stay at home.
“Being very careful as we go into the holiday period about keeping your loved ones safe,” said Senator Baldwin. “We have to recognize that we are all in this together and that until we have a vaccine, which won't likely be until early to mid-next year, that we all have to do our part to keep Wisconsinites safe.”
Senator Ron Johnson was not available for an interview Thursday. He plans to hold a hearing next week on different approaches to treat COVID and help avoid hospitalization.
