FOND DU LAC (NBC 26) — A semi-tractor caught fire on Highway 41 in the southbound lane, just south of the Highway 151 overpass.
In a release from Fond du Lac Fire Rescue, emergency crews were dispatched at 1:38 p.m. on Thursday to a fire located in the cab of a semi-tractor.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire before it extended to the trailer and its contents.
A portion of Highway 41 between the 151 overpasses on and off raps was closed to control the scene.
Fond du Lac Fire Rescue would like to thank the motoring public that was affected by the incident for their patience while they were re-routed and emergency personnel worked to mitigate the incident.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
