BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Today, Brown County Parks offered an opportunity to kayak during a self-guided paddle on Lily Lake.
Naturalists tell us guests enjoy catching a glimpse of a nesting pair of bald eagles, bass, and other fish and the peaceful water.
"Lily Lake is one of our only inland bodies of water that we have within Brown County, so that means that it is very calm, it's beautiful, there's lots of nature. There's lots of people that enjoy coming out here for fishing and yeah, it's just a really nice little body of water," said Dani Wagner, a naturalist with the Brown County Parks Dept.
To rent a kayak it cost $20 per person. Another self-guided paddle is scheduled for August 13th.
