GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A second suspect in a Green Bay homicide that happened in April is now in custody, according to Brown County Jail records.

Green Bay Police had been searching for Alejandro Cantu in connection to the homicide of Randall Denny. Police had also been searching for Cantu's brother, Gustavo, who was arrested in Texas last week.

According to a previous report, Green Bay Police officers responded at 5:04 a.m. April 30 to the intersection of Western and Perkins avenues for a report of gunshots along with a person laying in the road.

Police found a 34-year-old Hobart resident when they arrived at the scene. Police said officers and paramedics tried to save the victim's life but the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later. Witnesses reported that multiple people fled the scene immediately after the gunshots were heard, according to police. Police identified the victim as Randall Denny.

Police had previously said charges were filed for both Cantu brothers for first-degree intentional homicide and use of a dangerous weapon in Brown County Circuit Court. Jacob Ventura is in custody and is also being charged in this case, with the same charges. Ventura also has charges stemming from this investigation in Shawano County for felon in possession of a firearm. Police said all three have Green Bay addresses.
