NEENAH (NBC 26) — Another arrest has been made in the case of a shooting that happened a month ago in Neenah where the victim was reportedly shot in both legs.

Neenah Police said Friday that the Oshkosh Police Department and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office assisted Neenah Police investigators during a traffic stop on a vehicle. One passenger, who was identified as Trino F. Sanchez, was taken into custody and charged with reckless injury and party to the crime of armed robbery.

One other person, Javontae RD Mabry, has previously been taken into custody in Oshkosh a couple of weeks ago. Police are also looking to speak with Tyrell Anderson, who is considered a person of interest in the case.

About a month ago, officers were called to the 1200 block of Primrose Lane in Neenah at about 10 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 28-year-old man who had gunshot wounds to both legs. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. At the time, police said the incident was isolated and the public wasn't in danger.

This investigation is ongoing. Those with information are asked to contact Investigative Lieutenant Pat Pedersen at 920-886-6020 or the Winnebago County Crime Stoppers at 920-231-8477.
