CLINTONVILLE, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Clintonville wide receiver/defensive back Brock Smejkal is this week's NBC 26 Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Smejkal has been sidelined because of a broken finger, but his coach said what he's done since the injury is even more impressive.
"Just being supportive, helping with my position like receivers and safeties and stuff," Smejkal said. "A lot of new guys out here so they need as much help as they can get and I'm willing to do it."
Smejkal also received a special congratulations from Packers receiver Davante Adams.
