GREEN BAY — Schneider National Carriers, Inc. has issued a WARN notice stating 85 workers in Green Bay will be laid off by September 30.
The notice from Schneider says the employees are less than 3% of the company's workforce in the Green Bay area.
The layoffs are a result of the company's discontinuation of its First to Final Mile service offering, Schneider says in the notice. The largest number of positions affected are senior customer specialists.
Schneider National Carriers, Inc. has provided formal notice of a workforce reduction at four Green Bay locations:
