GREEN BAY (NBC26) - About 100 lucky kids got to visit with Santa on the east side of Green Bay Saturday.
He was seen at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. This is the first year that Santa has visited the store. Families were able to take as many pictures as they like free of charge. Kids were also able to walk away with coloring books and Mardi gras beads.
"We had this opportunity from East Town Mall donating some of the Santa stuff that we kept, and from Shopko going out of business, we have some of their signing,” said store manager Virginia Steffes. “What a wonderful opportunity for us to set up a corner and to let people know Santa was coming, and give them that free opportunity to give them that free picture."
Steffes adds they're looking forward to hosting Santa again next year.
