GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Residents who live near Seymour Park say they fear for the overall safety of the neighborhood.

"We thought about selling last night," said Darlene Brunening, a resident who has lived in the neighborhood for 37 years.

On Friday, police arrived to the park and found three people shot. One person died and another is in critical condition. Brunening said she found one of the victims in her backyard.

"I heard at least 20 gunshots," she said. "We found him under the deck in the backyard. He was faced down and it didn't look good."

Brunening said the neighborhood used to be safe. However, she said things changed in the past year.

"We used to have block parties. All the neighbors were friendly. I thought I would die here," she said. "After this, maybe not."

No one has been arrested, but the police say the incident is isolated and those involved knew each other. They say they are currently looking for a person of interest. If anyone has information, they are asked to contact police.
