GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Customers who bring in donations during the Service League Craft of Giving collection drive will receive a free locally brewed craft beer from Green Bay brewers.
The Service League of Green Bay partnered with local Green Bay brewers to provide children in need with shoes and backpacks for the 2022-2023 school year through the Back-to-School Store.
“24% of students in Green Bay live in poverty, and our Back-to-School Store provides over 3,000 students here in our community with the necessary supplies for a successful school year,” said Ashley French, Marketing Chair for The Service League of Green Bay, “and it is partnerships with supportive organizations like these phenomenal breweries and the outpouring of volunteers that have made the Back-to-School Store a successful community program each year. The Service League’s goal is to empower children to achieve their dreams regardless of socioeconomic status.”
Accepted donations include quality backpacks, shoes, athletic socks and variety packs of underwear.
Collections are located at three different local breweries.
