GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge will be closed all day Wednesday and into early Thursday evening. The Green Bay Public Works Department says the bridge's hydraulic system is under inspection.
The bridge is closed from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31. Dousman Street will be closed west of the Fox River at Broadway. Main Street will be closed east of the Fox River at Washington Street.
Detours are available on Broadway, Walnut Street, and Monroe Avenue.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. All closures, detours, and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
Green Bay Public Works said drivers should anticipate backups and are encouraged to find alternate routes.
