A Green Bay pantry is now able to provide fresh home-grown pesticide and herbicide free lettuce.
The Presbyterian Food Pantry has purchased and is now using a fork farms hydroponic system to grow the produce.
The lettuce will be pre-bagged and distributed at a table outside the pantry to provide the least amount person to person contact.
The pantry is looking in to getting more of the hydroponic units in the future to provide more food the community.
