FISH CREEK, Wis (NBC 26) -- Door County is known for the cherries. Ever year from about mid-July to the end of July, orchards from southern Door County all the way to the tip of Door County will harvest their cherries.
Carrie Lautenbach-Viste the Director of Marketing and Sales at Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery & Market says they're excited to welcome guests to the orchards to take part in 'pick your own' cherries. She adds she expects to see more people coming out since families are looking for fun activities to take part in where social distancing is possible.
Lautenbach-Viste says masks are required inside their store. Tastings have been moved outside for guests to enjoy.
