Preble High School going virtual for two days

GREEN BAY (NBC26) — Preble High School, in Green Bay, will be heading to virtual learning the next two days, according to an announcement from the school district. This move to virtual comes after a 14-year-old boy made threats earlier Wednesday on social media directed at the school. The District is collaborating with the Green Bay Police Department who are currently investigating the incident.

Green Bay Area Public Schools says that all threats are investigated by in collaboration with the GBPD. Students who make threats, even in jest, are subject to very serious consequences up to and including expulsion through the age of 21.

Students will login into google classroom to get their assignments tomorrow but with no live instruction. However, Friday will be a virtual learning day with teacher instruction. Co-curricular activities have been postponed for both Thursday and Friday.
