The Powerball drawing Monday night for an estimated $1.9 billion jackpot has been delayed.
The delay occurred because a participating lottery needed extra time to complete required security protocols that must happen before a drawing, according to the California State Lottery.
When that process is finished, the drawing will take place, according to the California State Lottery.
