Police release names in shooting death of Sheboygan teen, continue search for teenage suspect

SHEBOYGAN (NBC 26) — Police continue to search for a teenage suspect in connection to the shooting death of another teenage boy Friday afternoon in Sheboygan.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Center Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Friday for a report that someone had been shot, according to the Sheboygan Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found Kilek Mack, 16, of Sheboygan, shot multiple times. Police said Mack was sent to Children's Hospital in Milwauke and later died from his injuries.

Police identified the suspect in this shooting as a 16-year-old boy from Milwaukee. Officials said Mack and the other teen were in a physical fight before the suspect shot Mack and fled the scene.

Police said they've searched places in Sheboygan and Milwaukee to find the suspect, who faces outstanding homicide charges.
