NEENAH (NBC 26) — A suspect in a Neenah homicide is in custody after police said she led officers on a high-speed chase last Friday.
Neenah Police said Terran R. Colwell is one of two people suspected in a stabbing that killed Rodger Ridgeway back in April. The other suspect, Mandel L. Roy, was taken into custody last month.
According to Neenah Police, investigators received information where Colwell might be staying, and the US Marshals Service did a follow-up at the address. Police said officers attempted to stop Colwell after she had been seen leaving in a vehicle.
Police said Colwell was driving and led officers on a high-speed chase before the officers stopped the chase due to safety concerns. Colwell then parked the vehicle and ran off. According to Neenah Police, officers from the Minneapolis Police Department found Colwell and took her into custody.
Police said she is being held in the Hennepin County Jail in Minnesota, awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.
